Crossing the River in Seville....

The lively Triana neighborhood is on the west side of the Guadalquivir river, connected to the main part of Seville by several bridges.  We walked across Puente de Isabel II, a metal arch bridge, to explore Triana.....

The Spanish route of the Camino de Santiago (The Walk of Saint James) begins in Seville, at the Cathedral.  There is a sign for it as you cross the Puente de Isabel II bridge to Triana....

Triana is known for Spanish ceramics.  We found some we liked at this place....

The Church of Santa Ana in Triana dates to the 13th Century.  There was a beautiful ray of sunlight beaming through a stained glass window in one of the chapels....

We didn't expect to see Inquisition Alley in Triana....Who knows what happens there....

We also didn't expect to see a basketball store....

Our stroll to and through Triana interesting and enlightening.  And a great walk....
