Gracias Granada...!!

What a wonderful time we had in Granada, Spain.  The Hotel Santa Isabel la Real was excellent...very characteristic, comfortable bed, great breakfast, super helpful staff, and an elevator!  It was serviced by two mini buses that arrived frequently and allowed us to quickly move around town.

The Darro river flows through the center of Granada, and actually flows under Plaza Nueva, which is the main gathering point in the city.  A walk along the river is very nice, and there are several ancient bridges that cross the river....

Just off Plaza Nueva we found an excellent traditional tapas bar called Antigua Bodega Castaneda.  We enjoyed beer, wine, and several tapas....

Not far from Plaza Nueva is Granada Cathedral.  It is truly stunning.  We even paid 5 euros each for the audio guide.  The Cathedral's organ has 4,000 pipes!
