Plaza de Toros in Ronda

Although not big fans of bullfighting, we enjoyed our visit to the Ronda Bullring.  It was built in the late 18th Century, and is the oldest in Spain....

Two famous Americans are immortalized at the Plaza de Toros.... we expected Ernest Hemingway, the other was a surprise....Orson Welles....he was such a fan of Ronda and bullfighting, his ashes were buried on the estate of his friend and famous Matador Antonio Ordóñez....

Cafe in Old Town named after Ernest Hemingway....

Entering the Bullring...

The bulls are kept in these cells and enter the ring through this chute....

Here's a short video of the bullring....
