Here We Go Again...!!

Here we go again!  We leave on Feb 8 for two days in NYC with Mike and Chelsea, then depart JFK on Feb 10 for Madrid, and will spend two weeks in the Andalusia region of Spain... Granada, Ronda, Jerez, and Seville.  Then to The Lemon Tree in Sicily for the month of March, then to Orvieto for a week and Lucca for a week before heading home on April 17.  We're leaving the robins and snow behind!

We got to Mike and Chelsea's apartment Friday evening, where we dined on Shake Shack delivery.  For dessert, from Mike and Chelsea's freezer... we had a choice of twenty-two different pints of ice cream!

Saturday we spent the afternoon binge watching new episodes of The Grand Tour with Mike and Chelsea and friends Alex, Sarah, and their baby Maddie.  Then the seven of us had a great dinner at Carbone.  Returning to Mike and Chelsea's apartment, the guys sipped 100-year-old Cognac, and the girls enjoyed ice wine....

Sunday we returned to their apartment for lunch, relaxation, and a hockey game on the 80" TV (which Mike thinks is too small)....

It was finally time to head to JFK for the flight to Madrid.  Anxiously awaiting take-off.....!

Next stop... Madrid airport to pick up our Fiat 500 for the long drive to Granada.... vamanos!
